How can i prepare for my ap united stated government class that im taking next year (12th grade)?

i have until the middle of august until school starts and i want to get a head start on studying for this class. any advice? im reading a book on us government but is there anything else i can do? i really want to do well in this class. thanks

Read the Constitution, Declaration of Independance, and start watching C-span.
