Question:

How can i prepare myself to feel super energized and focused b4 my race??!!?

I wanna redeem myself this friday in the 1500 . . .my pr is a 4:17 . . .but i wanna drop my time to 4:08 --> sunday at region 3 meet . . .i ran a 4:20 but i didnt run hard at all simply bcuz my knee was bothering me!! any tips on how can prevent this 4rm happening on fri??? And wat should i do to feel super energized b4 the race???

  2. Whenever i want to prepare myself to do something freakishly hard i usually close my eyes and imagine myself doing it and how AMAZING it would feel if i do it. Then you feel pumped. Perhaps do this while your on the block.

    With the knee just keep it warm, use a rice bag before the race and make sure to strap it or use some sort of leg warmer

  3. Totally just give yourself a goal (like your time one) and realize how hard your gonna have to push yourself to ever fulfill it. But imagine the feeling when you get done, and you got your goal. I like to make goals like, I have to be 4th place and above, or something like that, depending on who you run against. totally get like your mind on the goal, and just feel what you need to do, and figure out how hard you'll have to push youself =)
