How can i prevent flowers from wilting for my party? ?

i am having a party and i am going to put fresh flower arrangements on the tables. problem is that i have no time to run to the flower district in downtown LA @ 5 in the morning and get them fresh for that day. so i was thinking about buying them the night before and putting them in the fridge. will that help them last in good condition for the next day?

Honestly I would ask your florist for assistance in securing good blooms for the party.

Ideas below

my big thing that allowed me to have good blooms for my  outdoor wedding was clean buckets and plenty of space for my flowers meaning not crowding them... I just kept them over night in air condition.. not blowing directly over them of course..

Throw an aspirin in the vase

Cut them at an angle and either give them some of the food from the packet you may have got with them...or put some sugar in the water.
