How can i prevent my country from degradation?

unbelieveably my country is becoming a desert and the forests are almost cleared and the government is still keep silent so how can i protect my country (ETHIOPIA) from being desert?

Plant a tree... plant as many as you can. Water and care for them. It is better to plant one tree than to curse the desert.

It's great that you want to do something.

Ethiopia has had some bad droughts in past few years, and this doesn't help your cause.  Global warming could make it even worse in Eastern Africa.

More trees and vegetation will be killed by drought than you could replace, and if you did plant new trees, continued droughts would only kill off what you started.

What you describe is happening around the world, with governments being short-sided, and allowing business interests to clear out trees for economic benefit of a few.

We all suffer from this short-sightedness.

So, best I can suggest, is you become politically active, and set up environmental groups that can nominate and vote for new candidates that will adopt more long-range environmentally friendly policies.

These clubs should start in your schools where there are educated people that understand that both your future, and my future depends on us all working together to save our planet from deforestation. (and reducing global warming that is reducing rainfalls)
