How can i prevent my rabbit getting pee and p**p all over his,her feet?

My rabbits always get pee and p**p on there feet its really nasty i clean there cage everyday!I cant pick them up and i always have to clean it off of them and its getting onoing!!!!!best answer gets voted!!!!

You should get a wire bottom cage, or you could build one so the pee and p**p drops down, bunnies are better off in wire bottom cages, A) It keeps them much cleaner, B) if they are in a cage where they are directly in the bedding it could cause infections in their feet from them peeing in the bedding. And you also wouldn't have to clean it every single day, you can also then get a corner litter box and train your bunny to use that as well, but some bunnies really just like to sleep in it so that might not help you situation out.

The best thing to do is get a cage with a drop tray so everything falls through and they don't step on it.  Also it helps to have litter boxes for them to use when they are out of their cage.

Maybe your cage is too small, you are not using the right bedding or cleaning it enough?

You should have also neuter the rabbit and litter train them. They stay cleaner that way.

Some rabbits will do their business in one area, others are slobs.  I'm not sure how you go about getting them to go in one area.  Maybe put more corncob or sawdust or whatever you are using in one area of the cage.  Maybe the little guy will get the idea where to go.

Buy a toilet for your bunny and toilet train it by putting his poo and pee in the toilet eventually when he learns it he will be free from pee and poo. . . . Simple.  And they are easy to train!  Trust me!

Go to pet store and buy cage with grid floor that allows poo and pee to fall under them and not onto what their feet touch.
