  1. You need to contact a lawyer.

fyi: there is no quick adoption.

You need to fill out paper work and have home studies to make sure you are a suitable individual.

    Good luck on your journey!

  2. Yes.  You just need a lawyer and the birth parents have to give up their rights.

  3. What does the baby being mixed have to do with it?

If you know a woman who has agreed to this, then hire an attorney and they will do the necessary paperwork for an adoption.

  4. cps gets involved regardless just to make sure u are stable and ect..

  5. Even if you could, you shouldn't... 30 years ago, I was adopted 'privately,' and it wasn't a good experience... If you don't want social services involved, you'll look like you have something to hide.

  6. if u go abroad and adopt i think laws are different , depends where u are but legal adoptions , social services always involved and if it not legal you have no rights , mum can take baby back when ever she wants

  7. Short answer is no.

  8. Your avatar name suggests to me that you are willing to do anything to have a child but there is a right way about going about this and a bad way, You all need to sit down and talk about this with a lawyer and its NOT as easy as just give the baby to me else anyone and everyone would be doing it, a lot of people will be involved in this process NOT just you and the birth mother there will be papers to sign and things to be discussed concerning the child, If you are truly desperate YOU will go about this the right way.

  9. No chance the adoption process isn't very quick and the onus is on you to prove you are fit for the position.

Your talking about a child and not a puppy you can dump on the RSPCA because it peed on the carpet.

Very quick, no legal supervision suggests mental instability, if you aren't prepared to do it properly you aren't prepared to do it at all.

  10. This depends on what counrty you are in.

But I have to say that as you are so desprate to have a baby and you are trying to get one with out social services your mental status is something to be questioned!

I don't mean it badly but ask your self this: If you don't involve SS are you really truly looking out for the baby's best intrests? The fact that you don't want to makes me think that your not which also makes me think you are not suitblke to be a parents at the moment!

  11. You can't. And frankly thats a good thing.

  12. Not in this country and never fast. Sorry Social Services feels they have to be involved in everything that has to do with children

  13. You cant and whats the rush, remember your takin a baby from its mummy, there is heartache involved and this kind of process shouldn't be rushed

  14. You will need to contact an adoption attorney, and s/he will guide you through the process.  It will include a home study which looks at your health (physical and mental), safety of your home, finances, criminal background, etc.    You can not legally complete an adoption without a home study, but you can do one through an agency other than the Department of Social Services.

I am assuming that you know the mother of this child, and in that case the process could be completed relatively quickly (the homestudy being the longest part) but it is not going to be "very quick".  If you do not have a birth mother identified already, there is no telling how long the process will take.

This question sounds kind of desperate.  Trying to cover something up?  Fess up now...it will come out eventually anyway.  Usually when a DNA test is performed, they test the mother as well-you would be setting yourself up for fraud if you are looking at adopting a baby to pass off as yours and someone elses.
