  1. Actually it is cooler in the trunk.

The passenger section gets much hotter because of the windows acts as a green house.  So if you don't mind, put it in the truck.  Also it would be safer (from thieves.)

    Good Luck...

  2. this is what id do.....fill up a small cooler with ice (or a large one--doesnt matter)...then put your gps in a ziplock bag.  i always double bag mine just to be on the safe side.  if you wrap it in newspaper or a cloth first, the cold wont get to it.

  3. put it into a small cooler. No ice or anything. By the way it does get hot in a trunk. I left a vhs awhile back in my trunk and it melted the plastic.

  4. they're right, trunk is the coolest...however you could also buy a foil windshield cover; i have one for my Scion which has a black interior and it hardly gets hot inside at all (even on 90 degree days).

i really recomend buying one because you can use it for your own comfort as well as keeping your electronics cool ;)

  5. It usually don't get hot enough in a trunk to hurt them.
