How can i prove that 2/ 1+ cosx = sec^2(x/2) ?

  1. we know

    cos x = 2 cos ^2 x/2 - 1

    so cos x + 1 = 2 cos ^2 x/2

    so 2/(cos x + 1)= 1/ cos^2 x/2 = sec^2 x/2
