  1. Well Strength is a huge factor, but also force is a huge factor.

The most efficient and fast way to punch someone would be jabbing them.

Use your weak arm for jabbing and the strong arm for Hard drawn back punches.  You may think your punches are weak but trust me it just feels that way.

Best bet is to lift weights or practice your punches on a punching bag and constantly do that and you will build more impact.

Tip: When fighting NEVER Swing your fist around from the outside. You may feel more powerful but those punches are the easiest to counter.

  2. proper technique is what gives your punches power. you need to turn you hips and pivot. all your power will come from down up the arms are just an extension of this. to get more power you should be working out your core muscles

  3. if you looking for more power behind your punches try planting your feet and remember power also comes from the rotation of the hips

  4. Most jabs are speed punches.  The only way to increase the speed of your jab is to concentrate on rotating your shoulder up towards your ear when you punch as quickly as you can.  To increase the power on your jab, either step slightly as you throw it, or snap your hips with the punch.

The other punches are power punches.  You have to increase their speed and/or power by concentrating on the power foot (right foot for the straight right, left foot for the left hook, etc.) and making sure your toe, ankle, knee, and hip are all lined up and pointing in the direction of your opponent at the moment of impact.  Think about pivoting the foot as you punch, rotating the hips, and locking everything out together at the end of the punch.

Of utmost importance is to keep your punches compact.  Don't wing them out to the sides; rather, send them directly towards the target.  Make sure to snap back to your guard position as quickly as possible.

Power and speed comes from rotation of the body.  Increasing your core strength will boost the effectiveness of your punches.

    Good luck.

  5. you would be surprised, you probably punch harder and slower than you think, in boxing your hands are also your defense, so hard hits will be dodged, and you will be open for bone-crunchers, build speed on a speed bag, build wrists on a heavy bag. most fights are won with a jump rope, meaning without stamina, you are putty

  6. Do push ups. Push ups make your hands faster. Remember that punching comes from experience. Look at Mike Tyson for instance. He was from the streets and knew how to drop someone easily.
