Question:

How can i purchase a car from cuba and bring it over here, or to another transit country? Are there any?

licenses that i need such a a resident permit, or can i just give a guy on the street 800 bucks and he will let me leave with it? are there any meeting places online or in cuba where people go specifically to find people who will buy their old cars, how hard will it be to take the car out of the country if it would be leving by boat? can it go straight to miami or through somewhere else?

  1. You better check with your local goverment agencies.  There are a lot of things that you can't bring to the states if they come from Cuba.  Sometime ago we bought real Cuban Cigars in Dominican Republic and in Aruba.  The ones from the Dominican Republic were confiscated at the airport.  The second time the person in the airport told us about the law and he was so kind he permited my brother to bring one because it was already used a little. The others were confiscated also. So, be careful....

I also replied to your other question .  Trust me it ain't going to happen.  Those cars are not going to leave Cuba  they are national treasures.    If you want to waste hours on line trying go right ahead and if someone offers to help don't give them any money until you have the car in Miami.

    However, even though purchases may be made, apparently import is banned to the US from countries such as Korea and Cuba.
