How can i put music in my video?

i already uploaded the video i want onto my computer.

i uploaded it onto windows media player.

i wanna know how to put the song of my choice on there without playing the song while recording it.

Use Windows Media Player to import the music file you want to use.  

Then switch to Windows Movie Maker.  Import the video and the new music file into WMM.  You will then be able to combine the music over the video in whatever way you desire to fit your taste.  Once you have everything adjusted the way you want, export the edit to a new video and enjoy your new creation.
