How can i put on fake clear nails (they are natural looking french tip) w/o the glue showing?

I had to go to a wedding, and i am in the pictures, was going to get my nails done but would like to get the look buy buying them so I don't have to spend as much money. I just put 2 on, and u can see the glue underneath. Like a whiteish color. Do I just slide them on or press them on to get the glue spread out??

or what you could do, is use nail polish to make a french tip. I do that all the time. Get three basic shades of nail polish: Beige/pink, white, and clear topcoat. Put three coats of the pink on and wait for it to dry. Then, from going straight left to right on your nail, use the white to make a straight line (the tip!), then wait for that to dry and put the top coat on. (make sure you put a large amount on so it protects better. I would say about 3-4 coats. Wait for the nail polish to completely dry. I do this all the time and the best part is that it doesn't matter how long you nail is, the white will make it look even longer. Plus, you don't have to mess around with glue and plastic nails lol. Oh come on. Stop being so cheap! Getting your nails done professionally does not cst a lot of money. And fake nails that you glue on look like really fake. I've never seen ANY fake glue on nails that looked even close to being real. Besides, it's a wedding. Can't you spend a little money on your nails for a special occasion like that? Don't be so cheap,lol!
