You need to have your photo on a site like photobucket and click the "direct link" (the other links will show all your album) under the photo and right click and paste it in your question.

In ur answer profiles

click "edit my info"

click the button "use my 360 picture"

clkick preview & ok

make a yahoo 360 account at http://360.yahoo.com then you will click on Edit Personal Photo. Upload your photo there then return back http://answers.yahoo.com then click on My Profile then click on Edit My Info and you will see Use My Yahoo 360 Picture select that then go to the bottom click on Preview then OK that's it

You need to have the photo uploaded on a web site or web hosting service like photobucket or tinypic.

If you mean your avatar you need to go into your Yahoo account and either browse for a photo on your computer or use your yahoo avatar which you edit to look remotely like yourself. Although lately the edit function hasn't always been working.
