How can i raise awareness for animal conservation?

Join an organization that raises awareness of animal conservation or a charity. Do it.org website might have some on for you.

Get the word out, start a group around you community and have a fund raiser and donate the earnings to a good conservation group. Also, think green, everything we do effects the environment including animals, so recycle and use products that are environmentaly friendly.

Which animals? just the "beautiful and the wild" or does that go for ALL animals?

Here's an idea: stop consuming animal products. That way you not only conserve animals, but our environment as well.

*18 percent of greenhouse gas emissions come from livestock (more than from transportation!).

*Two-thirds (64 percent) of anthropogenic ammonia emissions, which contribute significantly to acid rain and acidification of ecosystems, come from cattle.

*The livestock sector accounts for over 8 percent of global human water use, while 64 percent of the world’s population will live in water-stressed areas by 2025.

*The world’s largest source of water pollution is believed to be the livestock sector.

*Livestock account for about 20 percent of the total terrestrial animal biomass, and the 30 percent of the earth’s land surface that they now pre-empt was once habitat for wildlife, in an era of unprecedented threats to biodiversity.

Writing letters/articles helps, as well as contacting your political representatives to change laws. I don't support ANIMAL conservation as much as ENVIRONMENTAL conservation because animals can take care of themselves, as long as they have a safe environment to live in.

or Wildlife Animal RescueEndangered Species Conservation Fund: http://www.ifaw.org/animalrescue.html

Volunteer, donate and use their merchandise to spread the word.  Then gather up as much useful information that you can and start a blog or a website devoted to animal conservation.
