  1. There are books you can get from the book store (or from your school counselor) that could help you!

What was your AFQT?  The 50?

WIKIPedia breaks down your scores really well...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Servi...

Plus, the next time you take it, you will know what is coming!  That will help a LOT!

Here is also a list of the scores you will need for MOSs you might be looking at for at least the USMC!

    http://usmilitary.about.com/od/marines/l...

And here is a site with tips and practice tests!!!

    http://www.military.com/ASVAB/0,,ASVAB_T...

  2. Math of ALL Kinds

  3. Go to the library and check out an ASVAB study guide. Take it as many times as you need to. Good luck!

  4. study but keep in mind that the Navy is going to use ur first score! Sorry to say this but there's no point of retaking the test if the Navy uses the 1st test score ask ur recruiter!

  5. Study.

  6. Just about any book store will have an ASVAB test preparation book with practice tests.

    read the whole book.

copy the practice test pages so you can take them more than once.

  7. An AFQT of 50 is a category 3 upper. That's already a good score.

An AFQT of 32 is low an minimum standards.

It's a combination of AFQT score, physical quals (ie normal color perception) and moral eligibility ( no criminal record).

Then it's a matter of what the service needs. Just because you quaify for does not mean it'availablele now.

Then it boils down to what you want out of what is availible.

If you came to me with a current AFQT of 50 I would strongly recommend you use it and would be reluctant to retest. Besides you can't retest for another 3 months anyway.

Your AFQT plus your other scores qualifies you for most jobs. Are you ready to enlist or using this an an excuse to delay your enlistment ?
