  1. do some extra credit and maybe do some ap classes if you can.

  2. If you take the same number of classes your sophomore year as your freshmen year, and get A's in all of them, you will have a 3.7 GPA at the end of the year.  If you want a 3.8, you'll need to take more than half again as many classes - so if you took 7 classes your first year, you'll need 11 or more A's to get to a 3.8 GPA.

  3. I honestly think you should sit down with your teachers and ask them this question. They are the ones that can tell you what is it you can do to raise your gpa.

Ask your teachers for an appointment so they have the time designated only for you. During the appointment, ask them to help you to create a plan. Put the plan on writing so yo can keep track of what you had accomplished.

After a month set  another appointment with your teachers to review the plan.

I am sure all your teachers will be happy to work with you on this.

    Good Luck!
