first way:-  Search for any trains from newdelhi to coimbatore.(which is the nearest station to ooty). then from coimbatore u may go thro' car,bus and from mettupalayam u may go thro' hill train to ooty.

second way:-search for train from newdelhi to chennai. from delhi itself u take ticket from chennai to mettupalayam in nigris express.or from chennai u take ticket upto coimbatore.
