How can i receive results from the hairdresser?

Whenever i would straighten my hair it would still look poofy but when i go to the hairdresser it looks really nice completley straight how can i get the results from the hairdresser at home? Thanks sooo much!!!

firstly they obviously have better control on ur hair coz its on a 2nd persond body

they use a gel

the name i dont remember

also do a little hair at a time that helps lots at one go is not goin to work and its bad for ur hair too
