How can i record continues video in my hard disk camcorder?

Hi pls help me if poss...i have a sony hard disk sr-300 and when i record everytime it records it as a new video as a result so many small small videos get created i want to know how can i record in continuation with the prev video whenever i start recording....thanks in advance

That is how it is designed. Start/stop = 1 file. To get 1 long file, use a video editor in your computer.

The other thing you need to know is if you record 1 really long clip - let's use 47 minutes as an example... you will actually wind up with 3 files... 2 at 20 minutes each + 1 at 7 minutes.
