How can i redecorate my drapes?

i have plain white drapes that r kinda ugly and i would like to decorate them to make them look better. wat kind of stuff can i put on them to make them look decent?

If you have a sewing machine with decorative stitches choose some that you like with some thread you find attractive to go with your existing decor and you have instant change.  This is also great on plain shower curtains.  

Don't have a sewing machine but you have a clothing iron?  You can get fusible webbing from a craft store and some pretty ribbon or lace that strikes your fancy.  Lay the fusible webbing down on top of the drape and lay the ribbon on top and follow the directions on the package.  Make sure to ready the cleaning instructions on your drapes to make sure they can be ironed first.

You can stamp designs on them. There are so many designs to chose from.. Check out this link below... You can also change the color with dye, or you can antique them using tea bags.

Tea dyeing is an easy way to mute fabrics or give them an older, antiqued look. Tea stains the fibers and gives a semi-permanent dull brown "dirty" tone to the whole piece. It is used when you want to "antique" a craft textile
