How can i register a company in OZ

you want to register company (pty ltd), you can ask your accountant. you can have a look at asic website how to register a company on this link http://www.asic.gov.au/asic/ASIC.NSF/byH...

if you only want to register business name you can register it at department of fair trading. if you are in NSW you can have a look at their website on how to register business on this link http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/Busine... there should be one for each state.

Most accountants have sources for setting up "off the shelf" Pty Ltd companies. The regulations for the requirements of running a company are on the ASIC web site - http://www.asic.gov.au/asic/asic.nsf

You may not need a Pty Ltd company however. Another alternative is a simple registered business name which is done on a state by state basis via a state department. It costs less to set up and run, but doesn't protect you as tightly from persoanl liability.

That's where an accountant's or lawyer's advice may be useful.
