  1. you can heat the waffles in a dry skillet on low heat ( dont use non-stick for this) could probably work for pop tarts too you just shouldnt put the frosted side down ever

  2. The microwave will work, kind of, but it's not really a substitute.  If I was you, I would get a little toaster oven.  You can use it for toasting but also for frozen waffles, pop tarts, and lots of things.  I don't know what we would do without ours, I use it just about every day.

  3. you can always microwave them, they will be soggy though. You can put them in the oven for five minutes turn over during cooking, use a baking sheet, that will make them crisp and should heat them well.

  4. bake 350 degrees 5 minutes, I've done it with waffles and it works fine, never tried with a pop tart.

  5. If you have an oven, you can toast them on the grill.  They toast really fast so keep an eye on it.

  6. poptarts can go in the microwave..or you could put them in a 350 oven for 3-5 min

  7. Well there's always the microwave, of course they won't be crunchy but you could defrost them in the microwave then heat them in a skillet for a bit of crunch. A toaster however is only about $20 .
