How can i remember to do my chores?

I'm really bad at remembering to do my chores. How can I remember and not be told to and not complain?

first off dont think of them as chores. Think of them as assignments into adulthood and the future. So get a piece of paper and pen or pencil and write down your assignments both home homework (your chores) and homework (school chores) both are very important. and then also leave a space for "free time" then put the info into a graft where you have the days of the week and blocks of time that can be designated. then break up your chores ... something like this mon-fri at 9 to 3 pm is the school chore.  4pm - 6pm is the homework chore. 6-7 (dinner/freetime) 7-9 housechore 1 (your laundry on Monday - Tuesday clean room - Wed help vaccum) etc . If you do that then you can put in BLUE the timrs you did it and in RED the times you didn't do it.  After awile you will see more blue than red and that should make you happier. by the way blue could be substituded with a a color that you like other than red since red is going to be your warning color.

1. make a list of chores

2. make a game out of how long it takes to do each chore.

    time yourself. mark off each chore

3. reward yourself when you have finished

If it is easier do more than one at a time.

like set dishes in water to soak while you do another chore.

sweep all the floors on one level of the house.

take all the trash and put it in one or two bags instead of dumping each one separately.

leave post-it notes for yourself in places where you pass by often. maybe on your mirror or on the computer. just little reminders.

if you have a phone set alarms on it, and if you dont put notes in the bathroom in the mornings or something.
