  1. Do you mean you have two operating systems? Or do you just want to close an open window? If it is the later - just close it by clicking the X in the top right hand corner of the window.

  2. If both the operating systems are installed on different partition, then start your computer with the one which you want to keep and them format the drive in which other operating system is placed.

If you have removed one OS and still you are being prompted to select the OS then

Open Notepad then Click on File-->Open type C:\boot.ini and click open.

Remove the open of the operating system which you have removed.

  3. Hello,

It's so easy, but you must be careful. First of all, you should know that the second Windows that you have been installed, is now your primary Windows.

    # If you want to remove your first installed Windows:

Boot your computer with your primary Windows (the Windows you want to keep), then

    1) As the first step, remove the unused Windows boot.

    2) Go to the hard disk partition (drive) where you have installed the unused Windows (Be careful). Just delete the "Windows" folder (maybe its title is different from "Windows". It's the name that you have been specified during its installation).

    That's all.

    ## If you want to remove your primary Windows (secondly installed):

Start your computer with the first installed Windows (the Windows you want to keep), then

    1) Go to the partition where you've installed the Windows you want to remove (primary Windows in this case). Delete its folder (maybe "Windows" often on Partition C)

    2) Now, you should put Windows CD (the same version as the Windows you have kept) in CD-ROM. Start the Windows setup, choose "MODIFY" in the menu where the setup begins. (You can also repair the boot but I prefer this for you because the description is complicated to some extent).

Finally, you'll have one Windows, what you asked for.

  4. if you had them on 2 local drives you can format the drive with the unwanted windows on it .but if you had them both on one drive I don't think you can do that
