I went to a concert with my friends playing in it and i recorded it on an audio recorder, but everytime the bass drum was hit (all the time!) thers a buzzing destortion because the audio recorder obviously didnt like it.

Is there any free good easy software for me to remove distortion. Anything specifically for the job?? thanks

  1. wavepad can sorta remove backround noise but i dont think its possible to remove that buzzin

  2. Soap Sound by Bias might be worth a look.

  3. If it's recorded onto the device, it cannot be removed.

The distortion is most likely the volume at which it was hit, which was too loud for the microphone to handle or the signal at which it was recorded at, and thus the distortion is created.

  4. better choose a good recorder
