I got stitches last week, they were supposed to be removed yesterday. But I have been far to busy to go in, and I will still be far to busy to go in all week. (No I do not spend all my time on the internet, I have a job and this is my downtime before school starts).

One thing is I popped a stitch 2 or 3 days ago. Now there are only 3 left, but they seem really tight.

  1. Has the wound healed?

are the stitches cat gut or staples?

Cat gut you can lift up and snip. Clean the area with alcohol first. the stitch will slip out. snip near the knot then clean again. lf  they are staples, make time and stop by the clinic and have them cut and removed. unless your health is not your main concern.  frankly my heath is my life so I put me first. can't help any one unless I take care of myself first.

  2. it is a bad idea if the stitches are the nonabsorbable kind.  there is a chance that a piece would be left inside and fester

  3. i dont think you can its a bad idea.

  4. little snip scissors and tweezers...easy.
