How can i remove the annoying "this copy of windows did not pass genuine" message?

"you may be a vitctim of counterfit software" now that im a victim i dont need to pay 150$ its not fault the system did not pass so i dont deserve the annoying message and i dont need the new updates i just want the ******* message removed

Contact Microsoft.  They will often give you a free copy of Windows if you submit your pirated media and tell them who sold it to you.  If you don't want to do that, you're essentially choosing to use stolen software so don't complain -- be happy you're not in prison :)

Go here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskto... and download the WGA removal tool. It's free and easy to use. I know a few people who have had to use it.

Sorry, don't have an answer, but I wanna know too! Ours is genuine, our neighbour used it and was fine, but it pops up for my computer too, i just ignore it...  :P Sorry, no help.

You got to pay unless your a computer genius they keep changing the software and adding to it all the time mine ran for 3 years and one day it didn't pass the test. It was BS I still have the the original software from Dell.
