How can i remove the governor from a Yamaha Vino scooter?

There are two pieces that restrict the Vino a washer in the exhaust and a washer on the variator.

Scooters are great and are fun to modify.  I would doubt that you actually hit a limiter while operating your Vino - it is usually a matter of your power output limiting your speed.  Check into de-restricting the engine with a better exhaust system and maybe an aftermarket carb.  You can also modify the weights in the clutch that will change how the power comes on.  Best advice is to try something - if it doesn't work, try something else.  Good luck!

Why not just buy something bigger instead of trying to damage this one? Most likely that is as fast as it goes.
