How can i remove the old version of the so called client in my cache? i cant play on yahoo chess.?

unistall the game just click the start and select all programs find the game that you downloaded select the game and you will see unistall and click the process of unistalling is now running.

Yahoo updated chess you now need the new version.But you have to remove the old one 1st.

normal clearing of cache does not remove game demos.(deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, ect)

click start button,,search,click on files/folders, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of yahoo's newest version of chess.

Another way is: go to; tools on your tool bar,select internet options,browser history,settings button,,view objects.select the game chess listed then delete it.

I can help you with your problem. Recently Yahoo updated their chess software, the older version no longer works right. Now the standard ways of clearing cache (deleting browser history, temp files, cookies) unfortunately will not remove the older outdated game. Click on Start button, search, using files/folders. Type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next time you go to Yahoo chess it will prompt you to download the new demo for latest version of yahoo chess. Good luck.
