Question:

How can i remove the shortcuts that are on the lefthand side of the screen without deleting them?

when i right click on them it just say 2 send them 2 E-drive or documents etc. I really want them back 2 the start menu

  1. jus drag them onto the start menu and delete it.


  2. go to folder option,in the view tab "uncheck all the display folder..........." options and ok it........u r done i guess

  3. Right click and delete  will only remove the shortcut and not delete the program.

  4. Just remove the icons  you dont use much.     You are only rmoving the short cut from the list.  not deleting anything..  You can easily access them from all programmes  list ...

  5. actually, a copy of them already exist in your start menu...deleting them wont affect your start menu in any way, the programs will still be there...but if you still wanna keep your icons but hide them, you can right click on the desktop, point at view, and click show icons so that the checkbox next to it is unchecked...atleast thats how you do it in vista...and dont listen to that guy NIL N or sumthin, his advice is c**p...

  6. Just delete them, it doesn't mean their gone forever, you can always create a new short cut by going to all programs via start menu > you can drag and drop or copy and paste the program onto the desktop.
