How can i remove vaseline from my babies hair?

My son and I have colds. Since I can't breathe through my nose I had the vaseline out to keep my lips from drying out. Was laying down, had forgotten the vaseline was beside the bed, and my son was playing with his toys right beside me. In the time it took me to read a short paragraph, the little monkey had put half the tub on his hair. I've washed his hair four times and no change. In addition, the floor is now covered, it's all over my bed....arghhh.

Any ideas on how to get it out of his hair? Once I stop laughing, that is.

LMAO. I'm sorry, but this is HILARIOUS!!! Lol The only thing I can think of is to use a anti dandruff shampoo. Those things are pretty harsh and will strip anything out of his hair. =) Sorry, but I can't get that image out of my head. Lol

When I was little I had lice and my parents read that putting vaseline on my hair would help. It did, however we couldn't get it out. My parents ended up buying this special shampoo that smelled like tar. I can't remember what it was called but it took it out.
