  1. Hi David.  Don't try suicide again.  Are you seeing a therapist/counselor?  That person could help find a possible solution...getting emancipated, a shelter for teens that is safe, the resources in your area.  Do you have any relatives that you could stay with until legal age?  Hang in there!

  2. You need an adult to sign for you. As a minor you cannot legally enter into an agreement such as a rental contract. Many landlords probably wouldn't be willing to rent to you, even with an adult signer...

  3. get emancipated

  4. well im pretty sure u do have to be 18 so maybe ask to move in with one of ur friends im sure they will understand

  5. Your best bet is to find someone renting out a room in their house. Check Craigslist and local newspapers. They may not even ask how old you are. Get a job and keep an eye out, and you may not have too much trouble getting something.

  6. You cannot rent when your under under 18 unless you are declared an emancipated minor by the courts.

  7. yea you wont be able to unless a guardian signs for you but you can get emancipated by the court and then you can enter into a legal contract but that's the only way a minor can enter a contract without a guardian so if nobody can sign for you go ahead and get emancipated and some times people on craigslist will have rooms for rent and you don't have to sign a lease but be careful because if you don't sign anything they can evict you anytime for no reason  and so you will have to live month by month and hope your dad doesn't call the police so if you cant stick it out try craigslist or get a older friend to move out with you
