  1. Dig 'em out with a special dandlion puller. Or put a dab of salt in the centre of each one, and repeat every week, it will die.

  2. the best one i have ever used and i spray it on my front and back yard 3 times during the summer it works wonders. try Scott's turf builder u can find it at walmart

  3. the weedkillers are okay but not guaranteed to work and can also be harmful to pets.

the best method is to dig out the weed. get a fork and dig down the side of the dandelion. ease out the weed to the full depth of the weed try and ensure you get all the root out as even a small bit of root will start to grow again. you can buy a tool from garden centres specifically for this weed.

you should be able to push the disturbed soil back together and just add a little seed and soil and water in well.

  4. Dandelions can only grow if your lawn is draining slowly. So when you see one,get the garden fork and make deep holes and stuff sharp sand in all the holes. This will make it too dry on the surface for dandelions to grow.

If you use verdone 2 (which is the most effective weedkiller) spray the weeds and keep pets off for 10 mins until weed leaves dry, than it's completely safe

  5. weed+  feed  every    six  weeks.

  6. use a weed and feed pellet based treatment.

  7. Good ol' fashioned elbow grease-- weeding.  Pull each plant up by the roots.  It works.
