I'm going to college in the fall and instead of bringing all of my dvds i thought it would be easier to just rip them all to my computer. I know i need some kind of program to rip them but i dont really want to pay for one.

  1. You can try some best DVD Ripper Platinum which converts DVD to AVI, DivX, XviD, VCD, WMV, MPEG4 format video files, with almost same quality, but just only 10% size. So you can add DVD Movie to iPod, Zune, Pocket PC or any other MP4 player. Also, you can rip the DVD to the formats for Youtube video such as wmv.

Even you can use the video editor profile to output avi file for your video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas. Also, it supports ripping MTV, music DVD to MP3 audio; you can listen to your favorite movies on your iPod now!

There is the free download link:

  2. try for nero ... also .. there are many many free DVD / CD rippers available ... try them...

but nero is good .. because , just in case if you can't RIP , then make an ISO or NRG image file , and use it with nero's own virtual drive ..

    njoy ..

  6. Assuming that this DVD uses CSS encryption (pretty much all commercial DVDs do), you will need to use a dedicated program for it. Operating system information would be necessary for more specific instructions. However, a quick search on Softpedia should get you what you need if you are using Mac or Windows. If you are using a BSD or Linux-based distro, searching your distros repositories will be much easier.
