Question:

How can i run for longer periods of time?

whenever i run i get side stitches so is there any way to prevent or get rid of them? plus any running tips and help on being able to keep running longer would be great!! thanks for your help

  1. if you drink too much water before u run, its more likely to get side aches and stuff like that. you dont need to run slower, dont listen to the person above me that told u to run slower. if you do track you should run with the long distance people and it will definetly get your endurance and stamina levels up. dont eat before you run, eat about 2 hours before you run that way the food will distribute through out your body. its recommended to eat lots of carbohydrates if you run cuz the carbohydrates turn into energy. i would recommend running about 4 miles everyday, i dont know how old you are but if you dont feel comfortable with this distance then only run about 2 miles a day. do this everyday and take a break saturday and sunday if you want. i do track (long distance) and my coach has us run about 5 miles everyday, we get a break on sunday tho. hope this info helped
