  1. any car audio shop will have you sign your life away and do it for cheap

  2. The one wire that has to get hooked up to the Emergency brake to "show" the DVD unit that your vehicle is in park, just attach a power with switch to turn it on and off... the problem is that its illegal in 48 states to play the DVD while operating a motor vehicle, you can get a hefty fine, and if there is any shop that installs it, they will get a fine of $16,000! be careful! its no joke!

  3. all i had to do to get my 7" motorised screen to work was to not connect the hand brake cable up..

  4. Ground it oout and wire a toggle switch in line. if the screen requiers more than on pulse to activete then the toggle switch serves its purpose as well as allowing you to kill the picture if you ever get pulled over

  5. You can buy a "video bypass module" from eBay...cheap,this is all you need to make this unit play while driving...I have a pioneer,it worked perfect for around $40...I don't have to do anything but press the DVD button now...Look up (video bypass module) in the search mode, you will see plenty of them for sale...

  6. You should have a wire designated for the e-brake hookup. Take that wire, and put it in each pin of the diagnostic port while the car is on, when you find the one that makes the dvd play splice it onto that one. You may have to put a toggle switch in line so that it will fool the player. That is what I did and may not be the best option. Hope it helps.
