  1. dont choke on the pieces

  2. They are fun but scary at the same time.

    Trust me It's safe.

If It wasnt why would It be at Wal-Mart?

  3. use a condom.

  4. it is a game, it will not posess you or haunt you. it is a toy.

  5. Balony! Is no different than playing battleship and other board games. The stories of "possesions" are only that: NONSENSE!

  6. ask Tom Dickson if it will blend and then see what happens.

God, Ouija boards do absolutely nothing but mess with you.

hey Anna, any chance I could talk to you either on MSN or by eMail? message me at: manicania@hotmail.com

    (or MSN)

you seem to be interested in things like succubus' and incubus'  so I dunno, wondering if you wanted to talk about it...

  7. Draw a protective pentagram and have everyone sit in the center.

  8. Hm.  Well, you're not gonna like this answer:

Yes, there is a "safe" way to use a Ouija Board.  It is for a person

who is well versed and experienced in Ceremony to cast a Circle

and maintain control of the proceedings throughout.

    Such training can take years.

The Concept is that the Ceremonialist is using the Circle and its

defined "Sacred Space" as a filter for what/who is invited in to

    operate the placette.

The OB is normally used for interrogations of a deceased person's

spirit about matters of import to the Questioner(s).  But it has no

intrinsic "filter".  It's designed to be a "generic portal" to the lower

astral.  That's why there's normally a Consequence of  Problems

when someone that is inexperienced in Ceremony (of any kine) gets

    involved with one.

And the really experienced people (Ceremonial Magicians, Shamans,

and Witches) normally have "contacts" they've made at one time or

another during the course of their training.  So it's something of an

oxymoron for one of them to fool around with it at all.

If you insist on messing around with an OB...at least make a

    contingency plan.

Check your hard-copy Yellow Pages of any large metropolitan area

near you for "new age", "metaphysical", "magic(k)", "paranormal", etc.

The shops listed will either have bulletin boards with notices of local

Covens, Drumming Circles, and/or Orders OR the staff when queried

may be able to refer you to one of their frequent customers who can

assist you...after you get into trouble.

  9. There really is no "safe" way to use a ouija board. They aren't just like toys where a spirit comes and moves stuff around to answer your question. Most times they become more like a portal. Then you have to go about closing that portal. And if it was really as easy as burning a candle or using a cleansing ritual, don't you think that there would be a lot less stories of things going wrong with using a ouija board then there are?

And it's not that easy to banish an evil spirit either.

It sounds like you're just looking to have a fun time. If you don't know anything in ways of being religious and using God's word, or there are even Wiccan spells and I'm sure a number of other religions have such, then you really shouldn't be messing with this. Someone can't just tell you to do something, and you'll be able to replicate it. If you can, that would be very surprising. Those things take faith and practice.

Just leave it alone until you learn more for yourself.
