How can i save my emails to hd/cd

i would like to keep a lot of them but tidy up my inbox

  1. You have not mentioned what e-mail program you use.

    You should be able to do it easily by selecting a bunch of them, and dragging the selection into windows explorer (depending on what program you use).

    Create a new folder, and open it so you can see at least a portion of the explorer window. Select the mails you want to move to the folder, right click the selection and drag to the new folder you have and release the right click. A menu will pop up asking if you want to copy or move the items - choose move.

    Once you have moved everything, burn the folder to a CD.

    That's probably the simplest of a dozen ways it can be done - but then it does depend on what program you are using for e-mail.
