How can i save pics as jpg all i can save them as is bitmap? please help?

im trying to save pics as jpg im using windows vista but it wont let me save them as jpg just bitmap keeps popping up please help?

Here is the easy way to save photos as jpg/jpeg (same thing) files. Right click on the photo click "save picture as" check the box at the bottom is set to jpg and "save" and the file is automatically saved as jpg.

use image viewer such as acdsee. save as...jpg.
