  1. See that beautiful sunset, the more serene with violet red tones the more polluted your day was.

    Acid rain & metalic poisons affects can be seen by the increase of dead & dying trees with low tolerance.

    In Mexico, when it's a high polution day and the mercury rises the birds literally start dropping from the sky...dead.

    Have you seen the dead fish in your rivers & streams?  How bout the increase in cancer/tumors on domesticated pets as well as sea turtles?

    Unfortunately these incident levels are not normal.

  2. You can't see the global warming effects because they're not there.  Global warming is just another scientific fantasy used to scare people.

  3. You can see LOTS of pollution around your city-- but I doubt you can see any affects of GW...... let me know if you find something.

  4. If you look for a long time (like 30-50 years) you'll see the forest limits are "moving" uphill on the mountainsides (towards cooler areas).

  5. well, if you can't see it, it is real?

  6. I know Global Warming causes more severe and a lot more weather from what I've learned in school. I don't pay attention to the news a lot so I don't know what's happening to other parts of the world, but in the United States the weather has been odd. Some places it's flooding, in others it snowing in the Summer, yet where I live it's hotter than normal. I'm pretty sure that where you live the weather has been acting differently than it should be, but maybe not. You never know.

  7. The Earth has been in a cooling cycle for the past decade so your project may be tough to pull off without blatantly lying to them.

  8. Sorry, but I can't help you.  The area in which I live has experienced nothing out of the ordinary.

  9. You don't need to wait 30-50 years...

    Notice when plants flower or leaves fall.

    Notice when birds and animals start mating, building nests, give birth.

    Note when the earliest birds and butterflies arrive and when they leave.

    Take a look at water table / reservoir levels.

    There are many other indicators but they depend heavily on where you are. Where I spent a lot of last year, the most visible effect of global warming was the high number of corpses - of camels and people.

    Edit:

    In Pakistan, you might want to check out the variation in the Karakoram glaciers, especially recent surges that are possibly linked to GW;

    You recently experienced the longest drought on record (99-01);

    The Indus is glacier fed and is expected to lose up to half its flow in the next few decades, emptying Pakistan's irrigation systems (no rice!!) but in the meantime, there is increased rain in the foothills of northern Pak and the HIndu Kush causing localised flooding.

    Nearby, the Himalayan glaciers are mostly in retreat and the 2002 heat wave in Andhra Pradesh temperatures resulted in the highest one-week death toll on record.

    To be honest, there is not so much direct, physical evidence of GW in Pakistan at present but do you really want to wait until the harvest fails before saying "Ah! So there is GW..."?

    Edit:

    Jeff m is deliberately confusing the issue by purposefully misunderstanding the theory of AGW. Yes, water vapour retains heat. So do blankets. Yes, the sun warms us up during the day and nights are cooler in its absence.

    None of this has much to do with the long term rapid increase in planetary temperature caused by human activities which is what we mean by AGW!

    (Water vapour plays a role in GW but only as a reinforcing consequence from CO2 and GHG emissions, not as a primary cause)

  10. A good demonstration of the greenhouse effect  of CO2, which can be verified by anyone:

         notice that clear nights cool off rapidly, and cloudy or humid nights do not. This is because water vapor is 95% of the greenhouse effect, CO2 is 4% (human caused is 1/4 of that)

         If you research some of the AGW "denier " info, you could write a far moreinteresting article, about how the "big lie, often repeated" method is used to scare people into destroying our countries industries

  11. Well actually it's so easy! Haven't you noticed anything around you that shows the effects of global warming? Well you can see how the temperature rises, and how strong storms can be in our time also you can see the extinction of many animals. A way to see is to observe clearly... research or read any articles about global war ming or watch television...
