How can i see the perseid meteor shower? I am from central america?

I researched that there will be about 50-80 meteors per hour on the 12/13th of august.... i really want to see it....what to do? where to look?..thanks

I used Managua as your location so this might be a little off. The farther north you are from Managua the better will be your viewing. The Perseids mostly originate within the constellation of Perseus so if you know where that is that's where to look. Perseus will be highest in your sky around 1:00 am local time. If you don't know where Perseus is, look a few degrees above your horizon between north and east.
