  1. Are you serious?  How did you propose to ship it in your eBay ad?  If your ad said local pickup only then tell the buyer to come get it.  Otherwise, it is your legal and moral obligation to ship it.

If this is the case, then box it carefully and ship it either by UPS of FedEx ground. The shipping charges alone will run you more than $60.

  2. ride ur bike to his house then walk back home

  3. that's something you should have thought about before you sold it.... take it apart, box it up and ship via UPS.. go to a bicyle shop and ask for an empty bicycle box that you could re-use to ship yours..

  4. Partially dismantle ,box up and send by ups

  5. amtrak.

they'll sell you a nice sized box.

all you have to do is remove the pedals, loosen the stem, and turn the handlebars.

  6. UPS or DHL. The cost might be $50 or so, depending on where it's going. You could ask your local bike shop for empty bike boxes, but you would have to pack it. Remove the pedals, wheels and handlebars.

Some bike shops offer professional packing services, but that would cost an additional $50 or more to have that done.

(I hope you figured in all these costs before you sold the bike!)

  7. hope you included shipping in the price..

  8. I think you're going to have to go with a courier company or similar.  I don't think you;ll be able to go via regular post here.  I would recommend getting on your local yellow pages and look up parcel couriers.

  9. Have you thought about taking it on the train and getting te train back home? It could save money on a courier.
