Find out what provider they use and go to their website and send it from there. You can email the phone as well but you'll have to call them and ask for the mobile phone email address and it may not work if the phone or service is not multimedia compatible.

Where are you located?

If you're in the Caribbean and you have a Digicel phone, you can send 30 free text messages per month using WebTEXT.

If you're not in the Caribbean and don't have a Digicel phone, sorry, I don't really know of any free service you can use.

Best thing to do is probably check your provider's website to see if you can send text from there to other phones. ~*
