How can i separate a bedroom?

me a my best friend are living in canada for 6 months and we rented out a apartment but the only problem was its basiclly a one bedrrom apartment. she is my best friend but i was wondering if anyone knew a way to separate a bedroom thats cost effective and works.!! thanks~~~

u could use those old school clothes changing screens,or a clothes line from 1 wall 2 the other and drape some sheets and blankets on it ....jail house...

You could buid you a clothes line across the room Or wall to wall.  That way  all you would have to buy is a few feet of wire.  And  a couple of eyelets to fasten your wire to.  And then throw you a couple of sheets over the wire.  It wouldn't be sound proof.  But you wouldn't have to look at your room mate.

Try using a Chinese Screen that matches your room.  They can be really cute and effective.  You can also try hanging a track with curtain that slides so you can seperate the room when needed and open it to have more space.  Getting a curtain that matches your room functional and cute.

Don't know how your place is set up, but the only thing I can think of are those folding dressing blinds. If the room is big enough, you may even need two. Its not sound proof, but it does give you privacy while dressing or sleeping.
