How can i ship items from mexico to the u.s. safely and how long does it take?

I want to ship various small items- handicrafts, clothes, tequila- seperately, not all together. I don't know if the Mexican postal service is reliable, or if there is another,safer bet.

No,the postal service in Mexico is neither reliable or fast.

It often takes a month or more for a letter to get to the U.S. "melkiha" is correct. Use  Fed Ex /UPS/DHL.They are efficient.and have competitive pricing.

Use international courier.

You can easily track your shipment.

UPS, DHL, FedEx are a safe bet.

There are some other Mexican couriers that are reliable.

Basically, all fees are pretty much the same.

As for post service, you can try registered mail.
