  1. Shipping will cost more than the TV is worth. Not only that, your TV won't work there as they use PAL system and we use NTSC.

  2. Stick it in a box and let UPS do the rest.

  3. Why would you bother?  TV's in the US use NTSC.  TV's in the UK use PAL.  TV's in the US use 120V.  TV's in the UK use 240V.  TV's are cheap.  The shipping will cost about as much as a new TV.

  4. Fed Ex

  5. I wouldn't do it.  Buy one when you get there.  The cost of shipping could be more than the TV is worth.

  6. You could, but it will be really expensive. The electrical outlets are different than in the US also, so unless you can use an adapter for the TV plug, there's no point in shipping it.

  7. i would look into  UPS   for  shipping  and  depending  on  the value  of  the tv  i  might  think  about  selling  it  and  buying  another one  if  the  shipping  is  to  high  and  the  tv  is  not  expensive

  8. by boat

  9. Lots of bubble wrap, make sure it is not a reused box and the box is constructed sturdily. You may even want to put an extra sheet of cardboard or thin sheet of wood over the screen to protect it in transport.  If you are just shipping your TV use someone like DHL or UPS.  Also remember you need to consider that the UK uses 220 not 110, so you will need some sort of transformer/converter to even use it over there.
