How can i show him that i got the hint?

I was friends with this guy but l liked him more than just friends. I never had the courage to tell him but he noticed because he hinted me that it’s just a friendship. I felt so rejected and embarrassed. He didn’t tell me directly but I got the idea. I didn't talk to him for 2 weeks.

I finally decide to talk to him because I enjoy his company and he is great friends just want to act cool around him. How can I show him that I got the hint and I am willing to be just friends with him?

Just start talking to him normally, and make sure you don't appear to be flirting or anything. Talk to him for a bit before you suggest going somewhere or something, also maybe ask his advice about a guy or something, give the message you're over him (even if you aren't, lol)
