my mother is the best person ever !

shes like my best friend and i can literally talk to her about anything without objections and she never judges me by what i do .

I'm 14 years old so i have no car to take her out .

she recently spent $700 on a shopping spree for me AND shes getting me a cell phone .

but even without the material things i want to make her feel as special as she ALWAYS makes me feel .

she treats me like a princess and i am very thankful that she is my mother .

and i really do appreciate her and i want to know of something i can do to make her feel that way .

i have no car and no money .

so something that comes from the heart please ?

i am already surprising her with a squeaky clean house tomorrow ,

but what else ?

thank you all in advance !

  1. Tell her you love her and show her you love her!

I hope my daughter will one day speak so very highly of me like you do of your mom.

I don't want things from my family... I just want their love and acknowledgement.

Its not the materials it is the quality of time that matters the most.

Go give her a hug and tell her you LOVE her!

  2. Make her something.  It doesn't have to be something fancy.  You could write a poem, write her a letter telling her how much you love her, or you could find a poem on line.

  3. I feel this way too. I just always tell my mom how I feel, how amazing she really is, how beautiful and smart and kind.  I tell her from the heart and she gets teary eyed and she gets a confidence boost. I love her.

  4. Tell her and give her lots of hugs. The simple things mean A LOT. Doing things for her, and chores, surprises are always appreciated too. Make her stuff. Get her gifts. Take over some of her responsibilities (like the cleaning thing) that will help her a lot. Also get a part time job and take some financial stress off her, that's a big help. But just keep reminding her how great she is, make her cards, talk to her and never lie or keep secrets, and do what she says or asks!

  5. First off, don't take advantage of her. Clean the house because you know it'll help her out rather than it being a 'gift'. Tell her, 'thank you', 'please', and 'I appreciate you' whenever you can, because she taught you to be polite. Make dinner every once in a while, since that's something you should be doing to help her out anyways, but you knew that of course. HHmmm, let's see.I have no idea.

  6. As a Mom I can tell you that all we want is to see you become a good person.  If you tell her you love and appreciate her and show it by being responsible then you've done all you need to do.

  7. wow. you're really fortunate to have someone like that in your life. that's good that you're thinking of something from the heart. the small things are the ones that count. first, tell her how much you love her. when i want to show my mom i love her very much and i'm very thankful for all that she does for me, i write a heartfelt letter, ask her how her day was, help out with extra chores around the house, and things like that. most importantly, i try to remind her that i am so grateful for all she byes and gives me, and that i don't need anything else. just acknowledge her and all she does for you.

  8. Take every opportunity to tell just what you told the world.

    Always be respectful to her.

Give her a hug & kiss when you leave the house & at night when you go to bed

Spend time with her when she isn't buying you something.

Go with her when she has to grocery shopping (I hate doing that)

    Wash her car

    Do the laundry

    Write her a poem

You would already be my ideal daughter if you cleaned the house

Any thing you do, she'll love as long as you are not expecting anything in return -- it'll come from your heart.

  9. a clean house is a really good thing. maybe cook her dinner or get her some flowers. or after dinner, just start clearing the table and do the dishes.
