  1. Try turning her in small circles! your horse is stronger than u so by turning them in circles it forces them to take shorter and slower steps witch will get them to stop!

  2. Could you run spell check so I can actually read your question. I would greatly appreciate that.

  3. God I know what u mean...I have a horse like that

I just fell off her and broke my neck because he can turn so fast... lol anyways try taking it slow like walk to a trot....then if she does not do that bring her back down to a walk again. I had a Friend beside me teach her that when i tap her side it means trot then 2 taps means canter and so on... hope that helps >//<

  4. Thumbs up Kevin, I haven't had the best day today and you made me finally smile.....no, laugh, I appreciate your humor.  Your answer did remind me of trying to heel with my husband and roping the fence post on the side of the arena....I think I set a new world's record on how fast someone can throw a coil at a fence post while running past it on a horse with only one thing on his mind.

Oh, sacredrider44, I would love to answer your question, but I have no idea what you asked....re: Spell check, top right of the little box that you type in...it really helps us all out a lot.

  5. make her do circles if she goes to fast for you open up you inside leg (so she doesn't get confused with any other foot cues) and make her do circles every time she goes to fast for you she will figure out that every time she goes to fast she will be made to do circles and she will not like doing circles and make her do 4 to 6 circles each time or until she stops on her own then make her go to the speed you want her at and do this until she does it right it may only take one day but could take 5 or 6 days until she learns what you want from her

  6. keep a constant pressure on her mouth- a half halt, just slows her a bit with a little bit less pressure than you would use to stop her completly.

  7. Here, I answered a question just like this:

  8. Well the best thing I have found is I dally a rope around the saddle horn with a anchor tied to it. And when I want my horse to slow down I just give it "anchors away"!

  9. CIRCLES. If your horse wants to run turn left and right and left again. Make it work. Your horse cannot run if it is circling.Let her know that when she runs she is going to be worked. And when she walks then she doesnt have to work.
