  1. Check http://www.pc-optimizer-pro.com

With pc optimizer pro you can safely clean, repair and optimize your computer.

It will help improve your system performance without expensive hardware upgrades.

  2. over clock the processor, ram. on ur own risk as this may even lead to the system not working at  all.

    2 upgrade parts

3 in the lower right corner of screen right click and close programs

    4 disable visuals(QUITE EFFECTIVE)

  3. delete programs that take up most of ur megabytes. often the ones that arent frequently used and are useless.

  4. Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".

Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Registry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!

There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.

    http://www.fix-system.com/

You can download and scan your computer for free.

  5. buy more ram for your desktop, check the motherboard your PC has, you might be able to buy faster Mhz ram 632 MB sounds like its a really old Desktop, think about a new one.

a couple of Gigs of ram is pretty much standard for XP and 4 Gigs for Vista (vista is slower than XP and a memory hog)

make sure you always haave some free space on your hard drive, clear out old programs that you dont need.

Try not to use complression on your hard drive, compressed files might load faster, but will put extra load on your CPU and slow things over-all.

If you are playing games... try buying a faster video card, or better yet, just upgrade the whole desktop.

You should be lookign at something with dual core or quad core processor, with Nvidia Ge-Force series 7 or above graphics card.

  6. You should run disk defragmentor and disc cleanup. You should also shut down your computer completely every so often.

  7. If your laptop is slow then it's probably because it's full of spyware and viruses or it needs a better processor. Your computer probably needs a RAM upgrade and maybe a better processor. Take your PC's to a professional for direct advice.

  9. delete some programs that you don't use

  10. hai da first u have to go through a complete virus check is still the machine is slow go and delete all the unwanted programs that u have installed still slow then reinstall it

  11. Well i will try to keep my answer to the point

    1) Free disk space -  Delete unnecessary  programs like  keeping only softwares you use regularly like a single web browser you use most often

    2) Remove unwanted services - these use up a lot of the memory , but remove a service only if you are sure it is not an important system service

    3) Remove unwanted drivers - Windows boots up all the devices when it starts so its a good idea to remove drivers for devices( like modems) which you don't normally use

    4)  Remove unwanted registry entries - Windows leaves reg entries even after programs are deleted so you should use a good software like ccleaner which will do the job for you

    5) Defragment your computer once in a while to remove all the clutters

    6) Lastly ,scan your disk to remove errors

  12. Firstly download some software 1. Revo Uninstaller and 2. Registry cleaner.

    1. Revo Uninstaller link below

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/revosetup...

    2. Registry cleaner link bellow

    http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_clea...

Aftar that installing two softwares uninstall unused software by "Revo Uninstaller". Its help you to delete all files also dumped files from your registry of a software. Use all the features of "Revo Uninstaller" and it make your computer clean and fast.

And also use "Registry cleaner" software it clen unused registry from your PC.

Frequently defragmant your hard drive partion to make your PC faster. Also use a good Antivirous like AVG, NORTON etc.

Also don't download any software from a risky web sight.

Do that and I am sure it make your PC very fast.

  13. 10 points to arouge for his great advice but I'll have to disagree about the disc compression. It is unnecessary if you have a big drive and it slows down performance since in order to access the file it has to be decompressed first.

Also in vista disable the "aero" and that ugly memory hog the "sidebar"

  14. try disk defragment in your pc using start->accecories->system tools->disk defragment.

  15. u might be running many programs at a time dats why its performing low.. or it may be due to some virus..

  16. To speed up your computer and free up space and memory for free:

Go to the Start Menu> Run

    Type in "appwiz.cpl"

    Uninstall whatever you don't need.

Next, go to Start> Run and type in "msconfig".

Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck everything you don't want to startup. If you want, you can uncheck everything, and your anti-virus will still restart itself when you log on.

Now go to My Computer> Hard Drive> Documents and Settings> [USER NAME]> Local Settings> and delete everything inside the Temp Folder. (This is a hidden folder so you will need to have "show hidden files and folders" checked in Folder Options) All the files in this folder are just temporary files that your Internet stored for certain websites.

Then go to My Computer> Hard Drive> Windows> Prefetch and delete everything inside it. This folder is like an cache for programs and should be emptied about once a month.

Next, you should install CCleaner, it will get rid of alot of temporary files on your computer. It also has a registry repair system, which is easily the best free one available on the Internet:

    http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Another option is to try defragmenting your computer.

Go to the Start Menu and go to All Programs

Go to Accessories and System Tools.

Choose Disk Defragmenter and when it loads click defragment.

Next, go to Device Manger (Start> RightClick My Computer> Properties> Hardware Tab> Device Manager) and update all drivers.

Another thing I would say is to compress your files if you already haven't.

Open My Computer and right click on your hard drive

Check the Compress Drive button and let it do it's thing.

Finally, make sure your Hard Drive doesn't have any bad sectors. Go to My Computer> Right Click Hard Drive> Properties> Tools Tab> Check Now> Check both boxes and Start. It will ask you to reboot, so reboot. This will clear out any bad sectors on your Hard Drive.

These are short-term solutions however. the easiest way is to just upgrade the RAM on your system, but at least the ways above are free.

    Good Luck =]
